The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) on February 16 and 17, 2023, trained its thirty (30) security and general services personnel on “Basic Security and Protocol” at the Precious Cabana Ynna Resort and Hotels, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte.
The training aimed to provide an opportunity for the participants to be capacitated with the necessary competencies concerning basic security execution, arrangement, contingency planning, and protocol.

𝘈𝘯 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦.” said by Mr. Joseph Erson Reyson, resource speaker of the training and an experienced close-in security and protection officer.
He discussed the topics on” Basic Knowledge on Safety, Security and close-in protection”, “Essential meaning of safety and security”, “Protocol of a Close-in Protection Officer”, and “Imposing Preventive Measures to Avoid Harm”. The two-day training concluded with a self-defense demonstration and proper handling of firearms.
The Ministry is optimistic that through this capacity development training, it will enhance and build the confidence of the Ministry’s personnel to be effective and efficient in delivering their duly assigned tasks and functions.
