After nearly two decades of a protracted rido (family feud) in Barangay Tugal, Midsayap Cluster II, one of the Special Geographic Areas of BARMM, it reached a historic conflict resolution agreement on March 10, 2024 at the Datu Dimaudtang Dilangalen Elementary School in Barangay Tugal, Midsayap Cluster II. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the ongoing pursuit of peace and stability.
The reconciliation kanduli (celebration) ceremony was co-facilitated by the Ministry of Public Order and Safety-BARMM which symbolized the sincerest commitment of the involved parties in healing the hatchet and embracing a future of peace and prosperity within the community.

Rey Rico, (GSC) PA, one of the security partners who attended the reconciliation ceremony expressed his utmost support and commitment to the conflict resolution.
The conflict resolution is achieved through the tireless efforts and dialogue of community stakeholders, officials from the barangay local government unit, religious leaders, MILF-National Field Guard Base Commander, CCCH-MILF, Office of MILF AHJAG/PSRO, Office of the Member of Parliament Hon. Mohammad Kellie Antao of BTA, Colonel Rey C. Rico (GSC) PA from the security sector, and the BARMM Government through MPOS resulting to the parties involved to set aside their differences and embrace a future of cooperation and coexistence,
