The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS)-BARMM successfully conducted the Turn-Over Ceremony of the Manili Rehabilitation Project under the Special Development Fund (SDF)-2021 in Sitio Bual, Barangay Manili, Carmen, North Cotabato on April 13, 2024 (Saturday) 4th of Shawwal 1445 A.H. This endeavor is part of the unwavering commitment of the Bangsamoro Government to rebuild and rehabilitate the Bangsamoro communities affected by historical injustices.

Manili’s Chairwoman Maimona Nalig Enalang warmheartedly conveyed during the ceremony.
The project includes the construction of a Madrasah with a chain link fence, installation of 30 units of solar street lights, and establishment of the Manili memorial site marker. The turnover ceremony was graced by the officials and members of the Manili Life Producers Cooperative, representative from the Bangsamoro Planning Development Authority (BPDA) SDF-Project Management Office (PMO) Mr. Mohammad K. Bajunaid, alongside Mrs. Zaida-Tur Ambel, the Focal Person from the Local Government of Carmen, Barangay Manili Chairwoman Maimona Nalig Enalang, and active residents of Barangay Manili.
This MPOS-led intervention underscores the steadfast commitment of the Bangsamoro Government to support the rehabilitation of the communities affected by historical injustices. On behalf of MPOS Minister Hussein Munoz, Community Affairs Officer III, Mr. Basit Minandang, extended his gratitude to Barangay Manili for their dedicated and proactive support to the project’s execution from inception up to its completion.
This initiative is among the 11 components of the Bangsamoro Government’s Special Development Fund as discussed by SDF-PMO Project Coordinator Mr. Mohammad Yassin K. Bajunaid during the activity. Furthermore, the project was funded by the Bangsamoro Government’s Special Development Fund initiated by Chief Minister Ahod Balawag Ebrahim, Al-Haj. Mr. Samer Nagli, Chairman of the Manili Life Producers Cooperative, officially received the Certificate of Acceptance for the Manili Rehabilitation Project during the turnover ceremony. “𝘐𝘯 𝘣𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘧 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘎𝘜 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘈𝘙𝘔𝘔 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢 𝘯𝘢 𝘪𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘢𝘺. The Manili Rehabilitation Program through the MPOS’ Special Development Fund (SDF) reflects the Ministry’s dedication to sustainable reconstruction and the holistic development of the conflict-affected Bangsamoro communities after experiencing a dark chapter in its history. The SDF program is in reference to Article XIV, Section 2, of the Bangsamoro Organic Law to rebuild, rehabilitate, and develop conflict-affected communities.
