This ceremony highlights the achievement of the Bangsamoro struggle in pursuing the vision to long lasting peace in the region. The raising of flags is in accordance to Article 2 Section 2 of the Bangsamoro Organic Law wherein “the flag of the Republic of the Philippines shall always be displayed alongside the Bangsamoro flag. Whenever the Bangsamoro hymn is sung, it shall always be preceded by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. “
