On August 21, 2023, the Ceremonial turnover of the Bangsamoro Peace Center was held through the Transition Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of the former Member of Parliament Hon. Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph in active partnership with the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) at the Mindanao State University-Main Campus, Marawi City.

Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph.
Meanwhile, MSU System President, Atty. Mapupuno exhibited his gratitude to former MP Atty. The thriumphant event gathered key stakesholders of the Ministry namely, the Chairman of the Marawi Compensation Board and former MP Atty. Maisara Dandamun-Latiph; MPOS Director-General, Atty. Al-Rashid L. Balt; President of MSU-Main Campus, Atty. Basari D. Mapupuno; MSU-IPDM Director, Acram A. Latiph; Director of MSU Shariah Center-KFCIAAS, MSU-Main Campus; Dr. Anwar Radiamoda; Marawi Compensation Board (MCB); and MSU officials who exerted unwavering collective efforts, hard work, and commitment to peace-building, contributing to the success of the turnover ceremony.
The Bangsamoro Peace Center is a part of the peace education complex that will support the MSU’s role in being the first peace university in the Philippines that safeguards peacebuilding initiatives and activities. Through this, championing unity in diversity through public order and safety interventions will foster and further promote and encourage social cohesion in the area.
