After defying numerous resolution attempts by various groups, individuals, and agencies, finally, through the rido settlement intervention of the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS), the two disputing families marked a turning point in the protracted conflict during a rido settlement on November 25, 2023, at Brgy. Mudseng, Midsayap, SGA, BARMM.
The rido involving two prominent families originated in 1982—more than two decades to this day—and was tagged as the epicenter of most conflicts in the area.
