Kabacan, North Cotabato | Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) in partnership with cluster coordinators of the Special Geographic Areas (SGA) of the Bangsamoro conducted series of community conversation on public order and safety named Mashuwara Kalilintad in four (4) remote communities in North Cotabato namely Brgy. Bagoa Inged and Brgy. Nunguan of Pikit, Brgy. Manarapan of Carmen, and Brgy. Proper Pedtad Kabacan dated March 16, 22, 23, and 24, 2022 respectively. This activity aimed to gather information and listen to the concerns of the Bangsamoro constituents in relation to public order and safety in their communities.
This will eventually help the ministry in designing responsive programs, projects and activities for the region. Also, enable the Ministry to convey the identified issues to proper law enforcement agencies and relevant BARMM ministries to generate appropriate response and action.
As we quote from one of the participants, “Nagpapasalamat po ako sa Ministry of Public Order and Safety sa pagpunta sa aming komunidad. Tunay po naming nararamdaman ang malasakit ng Bangsamoro Government sa amin na mga taga-SGA (Special Geographic Areas). Salamat po. ”
Mashuwara Kalilintad is part of the ministry’s commitment to ensure active community participation in achieving public order and safety in the region.
