Jolo, Sulu | In order to build a strong public order and security linkages and network in the province of Sulu, the Ministry of Public Order and Safety, for the second time this year, convened the security sector or law enforcement agencies based in Sulu Province namely PNP, AFP, SAF, PDEA, PCG, BFP, BJMP, and other peacekeeper institutions. This was conducted on August 2, 2022 at Notre Dame of Jolo Review Center, Jolo, Sulu.
The attending LEAs gave their further insights and recommendations on how the Bangsamoro Government, through MPOS, could help in addressing peace and security issues and concerns in the province. One of which was a formulation of a policy or intervention program to the renunciation (surrender) process of the alleged rebels to the folds of law, for them to feel that the government is sincere in helping them to transition to a conflict-free community.
