The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) extends its profound gratitude to the organizers of the ๐ญ๐ญ๐๐ต ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ฎ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐ฟ: ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป held on February 26 to March 3, 2023 at the Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, Clark Freeport, Pampanga.
The seminar was jointly organized by the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP), Department of National Defense, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines, with the support of Friedrich Ebert Stiftung. The seminar focused on topics related to the legal dimensions of military operation in the country.
MPOS Minister Hussein P. Munoz and Mr. Bhenhar A. Ayob, DMO V-Designate of the Ministry’s Home Affairs Services Law Enforcement Coordination Division (HAS LECD) participated the said activity.
The five-day intensive seminar was also participated by other delegates from the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Airforce, OPAPRU, National Security Council, CHR and CSOs.
The 11th seminar on OPLAW engaged the participants in scenario exercises to appreciate the applicability, scope, limits, and nuances of operational law in armed conflicts, and weighed in on how military forces should deal with a wide array of operational challenges while complying with the laws of armed conflict in maintaining the peace and public order in their area of responsibility.
