𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 | On April 28, 2023, the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) successfully mediated a rido (family feud) between two families in Lamitan City, Basilan. The Barangay Local Government Unit and MPOS worked together to calm tensions and restore peace; both parties signed an amicable agreement to resolve the conflict.
During the ceremony, Ustadz Hassan Sali, Chairman of the Municipal Justice, emphasized the importance of forgiveness, stating “𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘱𝘰𝘴 𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘰, 𝘢𝘺 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘬𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘸𝘢𝘨 𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘥𝘢𝘮 𝘥𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮 𝘯𝘪𝘺𝘰 𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘥.”
