After a series of coordination and negotiations between the disputing parties, an amicable agreement was created to cater to both premises. The comprehensive agreement was read and explained to the involved parties and was translated into the Maguindanaon dialect for better comprehension.

Meanwhile, the Administrator of SGA-BARMM Butch Malang expressed his unwavering support for the peacebuilding interventions of the Ministry to foster reconciliation in the region. The signing of the agreement was facilitated by MPOS’ Community Affairs Officers in SGA, participated by the parties involved and the other concerned individuals and groups. To signify the newly formed unification between the two prominent parties, ceremonial hugs and handshakes were exchanged, followed by the solemn recitation of Dua (Islamic prayer).

The reconciliation was made possible through the collaborative effort of the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) in collaboration with the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) Office of the Member of Parliament Hon. Mohammad Kelie U. Antao, Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) Political Committee, Lt. Col Rey C. Rico of 34th Infantry Battalion, P.A, PSRO and Ad Hoc Joint Action Group (AHJAG) Representative Hon. Nor-Ali Alamada, Field Guard Base Commander George Kasim, the Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Kadingilan Midsayap, and other stakeholders.
Rido Settlement is one of the flagship programs of the Ministry that aims to address community conflicts, provide community interventions, and other peace-related measures, to ensure its commitment and mandate on peacebuilding, reconciliation, and unification in the Bangsamoro.
