Cotabato City| The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) – BARMM, in collaboration with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) recently organized an Orientation on RA 6713 (The Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) held at Em Manor Hotel and Convention, Cotabato City on March 13, 2024. This was attended by the general workforce of the Ministry.
The orientation delved into various aspects of RA 6713 and its IRR, providing guidelines for ethical behavior, conflict resolution, moral decision-making, and financial disclosure among public servants. The IRR, a crucial component of the orientation, provides practical guidelines for implementing the law effectively within the Ministry.
CSC for BARMM Legal Division Chief Atty. Yasmin M. H. Abdulkarim emphasized the importance of accountability, integrity, and loyalty among public officials and employees.
