Forty (40) MILF vulnerable combatants from Camp Badre and members of Iranun Reconciliation Council, underwent peacebuilding training and individually received Ten Thousand Pesos (10,000) worth of financial assistance on April 25-24, 2024 in Esperanza, Sultan Kudarat province.
The initiative is part of the Ministry’s advocacy to empower the vulnerable sectors of the Bangsamoro taking significant part in sustaining the gains of peace. This is also aimed to support and augment the GPH-MILF decommissioning program where many of the MILF members were not able to avail of the said program.
Further, Alim Yusop Palawan, Chairman of the Iranun Reconciliation Council (IRC), extends his message, “𝘠𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘶𝘩𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘺 𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘶𝘱𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘰𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘥. 𝘗𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘩𝘪𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘰 𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘺𝘢𝘱𝘢 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘵𝘢𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘰.”
