Cotabato City | The Ministry of Public Order and Safety conducted its mid-year assessment last week at the Jehan Hall, Alnor Hotel and Convention Center, to look back at the accomplishments in the first semester of 2024 and develop strategies for a more productive performance in the second semester.
Minister Hussein P. Muñoz noted to recognize the efforts and incomparable contribution of all personnel in the milestone accomplishment of the Ministry.
“𝘈𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘴𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘳, 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘨𝘶𝘪𝘴𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘵, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸,” he said in his remarks.
According to him, the Ministry must focus on solutions and collaborations, where commitment to excellence remains unwavering.
“𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮,” Muñoz noted. “𝘛𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘣𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘶𝘴 𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘶𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘯𝘴.”
The activity is conducted to fortify the working relationship between and among personnel in the implementation of the ministry’s programs, projects, and activities (PAPs) and determine necessary adjustments and steps of the Ministry to address issues and concerns during the 1st semester of FY 2024.
In strategizing for the next six months, Director-General Atty. Al-Rashid L. Balt urged everyone to be abreast of the status of each affair in the Ministry on both operations and administrative management.

Mid-year assessment is an annual activity of the 3 to ensure the transparency and accountability of the Ministry.
Moreover, the activity provides a platform for the Ministry to devise future strategies to address any gaps, problems, or challenges thereby improving its services. Furthermore, this proactive approach ensures that the Ministry can adapt and respond effectively to any issues that arise, maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
