The workshop aimed to strengthen conflict management capabilities through improved data collection, analysis, and visualization. Participants were trained on enhancing datasets, refining conflict mapping, and utilizing the MS Power BI to visualize data for a data-driven decision-making.
By equipping attendees with hands-on experience in using Power BI, the workshop empowered them to transform raw data into actionable insights. This enables more effective strategic planning and response to potential conflicts. Additionally, participants gained a deeper understanding of the importance of accurate conflict mapping for identifying conflict hotspots and developing early warning systems.
This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of the MPOS, The Asia Foundation, and Tiyakap Kalilintad Incorporated to fostering peace and stability in the Bangsamoro region. The enhanced conflict data management system is anticipated to significantly contribute to long-term peacebuilding efforts by improving the region’s capacity to monitor and address conflict-related issues.
