The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS-BARMM) and the Municipal Police Station of Sultan Kudarat successfully conducted a Public Order and Safety Advocacy program in Brgy. Crossing Simuay, Sultan Kudarat on October 16, 2024.
The initiative, which involved 60 participants from the community, aimed to address the challenges posed by clan feuds and illegal drug trafficking in the conflict-affected area.
The program featured a series of discussions designed to raise awareness about public safety issues and provide participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to contribute to their community’s security. Participants were informed about the PNP’s R.E.A.D.Y. program for drug prevention and the Information Dissemination Program on Health and Well-being Awareness for Low-Risk Substance Users.
The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS-BARMM) is committed to promoting public order, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution in the region, according to Khomaide U.
