The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) continues to pursue its unwavering commitment to foster security and protection among and within the Ministry through the conduct of “Basic Security and Protocol Training (Part II)” held on October 23, 2023, at Cren Cuisine in Cotabato City, BARMM.
This training aimed to enforce the competencies of the Ministry’s personnel with higher levels of consciousness on the security plan and arrangement, protocol, and contingency planning of the office when faced with danger and other critical occasions. “𝘞𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘢 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬, 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰, 𝘢𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺. 𝘐𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘬𝘶𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘸𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘯𝘢 𝘪𝘵𝘰. 𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢-𝘥𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘴 𝘯𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘵 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘵 𝘪𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘣𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘗𝘖𝘚,” remarked by Mr. Bhenhar Ayob, MPOS’ Development Management Officer-V during the training.
The activity was intensified through the different sessions, which mainly focused on security planning, road mapping, the introduction of protection agents and their basic principles, different types of protection and security and their purposes, and other safety concerns. Furthermore, thirty (30) personnel of the Ministry from various offices, divisions, and sections participated in the activity.
Meanwhile, Sgt. Junaiden Leo, PA (Res), who served as the resource person during the activity, highlighted the significance of enforcing oneself with a strong foundation of safety rules before becoming an effective person who can secure others’ safety. He stated, “𝘋𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘳𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘥𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘣𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵 𝘬𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘢 𝘳𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘺 𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺.”

This training was facilitated by the Human Resource Management Section of the Administrative and Finance Division of the Ministry. The activity strives to create a documented policy outlining the Ministry’s fundamental security and protocol measures, which will serve as a valuable resource in addressing security and safety situations within the Ministry.
