The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) through the Information Communications Section (ICS) organized a two-day Multimedia Training for 30 personnel from various offices, divisions, and sections of the Ministry held on August 1-2, 2023, at the Paragon Hotel and Restaurant, Cotabato City.
MPOS Minister Hussein P. Muñoz encouraged the participants to actively participate and apply the lessons in their respective tasks, he said “𝘞𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘰, 𝘴𝘢 𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘨𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘳 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘴,” he expressed in his recorded video message.
The primary objective of the training was to capacitate participants with significant skills and competencies in the art of crafting high-quality multimedia content. This proficiency was deemed essential for conveying the Ministry’s mandate, overarching mission, operational capacities, initiatives, and engagements.

𝘐’𝘮 𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘺 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺 𝘥𝘶𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘺.” Mr. Jaafar Panda, one of the personnel of the Ministry’s Home Affairs Sercives -Law Enforcement and Coordination Division (HAS LECD), expressed his insights into effectively fulfilling his duties in the Ministry after the recently concluded MPOS’ Multimedia training for Ministry’s personnel.
Furthermore, the training encompassed an array of diverse multimedia topics, instruments, and technologies, strategically curated to enhance participants’ adeptness in executing official responsibilities with heightened efficacy. The training sessions encompassed subject matters sourced from respected and seasoned experts namely;
• “Beyond the Basics: Mastering the Advanced Writing for News and Feature Writing (English and Filipino), by Ms. Lerio Bompat, Chief Content Officer of Iminds Philippines and senior journalist of ABS-CBN Cotabato;
• “From Pixels to Publicity: Photojournalism as Promotional Tool and Marketing for Project and Community Events by Mr. William Solano, Jr., recognized photography and videography professional;
• “Mastering the Social Landscape: Proven Tips and Tricks for Effective Social Media Management, Mr. Jules Andrew Garcia, Country Representative of Tiktok Philippines;
• From Concept to Creation: Navigating Audio-Visual Production for PR and Marketing Purposes, discussed by Mr. Ayn Aris Fampulme, award-winning audio-visual documentation producer and filmmaker; and lastly,
• Visual Toolbox: Infographic and Image Making for Impactful Communication, tackled Mr. Lourd Jim Diazon, a well-sought digital artist of known international and national clients.
During the training, the participants actively engaged in the immersive workshops, translating and implementing the knowledge gleaned from the sessions to become more proficient in using multimedia tools and technology in their respective programs and activities.

Moreover, the training stands as a testament to the Ministry’s unwavering dedication, underscoring the paramount significance of augmenting the skills and proficiencies of its personnel within the Ministry. This concerted effort aims to guarantee the provision of pertinent and accurate information in the process of documenting and disseminating vital matters, thereby serving the Bangsamoro region and its populace with unwavering commitment.
