Zamboanga City | As part of the Ministry of Public Order and Safety’s reintegration support program, a total of four Former Local Insurgents (FLIs) hailing from Sulu have been provided with aid in the form of Php 5,000 and one sack of rice each. This assistance was granted during the ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ผ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ป๐๐๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐๐, an event organized by the Naval Forces Western Command in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Order and Safety at the Western Mindanao Command in Zamboanga City on August 9, 2023 (Wednesday).
During the presentation of FLIs, Rear Admiral Donn Anthony L. Moreover, as an integral component of the FLIs’ path to societal reintegration, they are set to undergo comprehensive peacebuilding training facilitated by the Ministry. The training aimed to equip them with the necessary skills and support for a successful reintegration process. The “Presentation of Former Local Insurgents” marks a significant step towards positive transformation and development for the FLIs in the Bangsamoro region.
