On July 2, 2024, the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) took the lead in conflict settlement in Barangay Kapimpilan, Kadayangan, Special Geographic Areas, BARMM last June 28, 2024.
MPOS Community Affairs Officer – V, Rafsan Johnny A. Abdul emphasized the importance of conciliation, collaboration, and commitment in resolving the conflict. He underscored the Ministry’s mandate to unite the BARMM community.
Midsayap Mayor Rolando Sacdalan expressed support for the peace efforts, drawing parallels to his municipality’s development under the leadership of Chief Minister Ibrahim Ahod Balawag. MP BTA Member Datu Randy Karon urged for peace and development, emphasizing the importance of lessons learned from past armed struggles.
