General Santos City | The Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) concluded its Operational Planning for the for fiscal year 2024 at the Microtel by Wyndham Hotel in General Santos City on January 28-30, 2024 and brought together key officials and personnel for a comprehensive discussion on strategies and initiatives to chart the Ministry’s programs, projects, and activities for FY 2024 to bolster security and public safety across the Bangsamoro.
The Operational Planning provided a platform for the participants to assess current challenges, identify emerging concerns, and chart a course of action for the year ahead.
MPOS Minister, Hussein P. Muñoz underscored the Ministry’s unwavering commitment and highlighted the significant role of its personnel in advancing the Ministry’s mission. “𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘢 𝘭𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯. Throughout the three-day session, participants engaged in constructive discussion and deliberation on a wide range of topics, including the Ministry’s Work and Financial Plan (WFP) for FY 2024, calendar of activities, and presentation of the Bangsamoro expenditure guidelines. Drawing upon their collective expertise and experience, the participants exchanged insights, best practices, and innovative approaches to address the multifaceted challenges.
MPOS Director-General, Atty. Al-Rashid L. Balt led the discussion and provided strategic guidance and direction to ensure alignment with the Ministry’s goals and objectives. Setting the tone for a productive and forward-thinking planning process, inspiring the key personnel to think creatively and critically in the pursuit of lasting peace and safety in the region.
