The Ministry of Public Order and Safety through the Special Development Fund (SDF) organized a training entitled “Livelihood Training on Agricultural Production using Concoction Formula cum Financial Management and Good Governance” on January 25-27, 2023 at Brgy. Manili, Carmen, North Cotabato. The training is one of the project components of the Manili Rehabilitation Program under the Special Development Fund 2021 that aimed to address the social healing of the Bangsamoro People.
Twenty-eight (28) participants from the Manili Life Agriculture Cooperative (MLAC), whose members were victims of historical injustices during the Martial Law period, participated in the said training. The Ministry through the Community Affairs Officers in Special Geographic Areas (SGA) in close coordination with the Cooperative and Social Enterprise Authority (CSEA) and MAFAR key personnel trained the participants on cooperative’s financial management and good governance, as well as the basics in farming as a source of livelihood.

𝘒𝘢𝘺𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘗𝘖𝘚, 𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘱𝘰 𝘢𝘺 𝘭𝘶𝘣𝘰𝘴 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘰𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘭 𝘬𝘢𝘩𝘪𝘵 𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪 𝘯𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘪 𝘴𝘢 𝘉𝘈𝘙𝘔𝘔, 𝘬𝘢𝘺𝘰 𝘱𝘰 𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘶𝘮𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘵 𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘢 𝘵𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘥 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘴𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘰.” Mr. Ting Nagli, resident of Brgy Manili and one of the participants said during the training session.
The Manili Rehabilitation Project includes the construction of a Madrasah, installation of solar street lights, and construction of Manili Memorial Marker.
The SDF is under Article XIV, Section 2, of the Bangsamoro Organic Law to rebuild, rehabilitate, and develop conflict-affected communities.
