With an unwavering commitment to instilling principles of moral governance in the realm of Bangsamoro public service, twenty-two (22) employed and promoted employees of the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) solemnly observed an oath-taking ceremony on the evening of Friday, July 7, 2023, at the Alnor Convention Center in Cotabato City.
BARMM Government’s Senior Minister Abunawas L. Maslamama, speaking at the event, highlighted the significance of public service and emphasized the responsibility that comes with it, saying, “𝘈𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘦𝘦𝘴, 𝘪𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦, 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘶𝘵𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘺.” He encouraged the oath-takers to wholeheartedly dedicate themselves to effecting positive change in the Bangsamoro region.
MPOS Deputy Minister Abdulkudos Balitoc, in his capacity as the administering official, guided the oath-takers through the sacred commitment as government employees of the Bangsamoro. He reminded them of their duty to serve the people of Bangsamoro with unwavering dedication, transparency, and accountability.
The oath-taking ceremony served as a reminder of the solemn duty entrusted upon them to contribute positively to the development and stability of the Bangsamoro. Addressing her fellow oath takers, Atty. Sapphira Dimalotang, MPOS Attorney IV, highlighted the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving their collective goals. She said, “𝘈𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘮𝘯 𝘰𝘢𝘵𝘩, 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘤𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘱𝘶𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘺, 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦.”
The ceremony concluded with the oath-takers expressing their heartfelt commitment to upholding their responsibilities with integrity and competence. Their pledge demonstrated their readiness to actively contribute to the betterment of the Bangsamoro community, guided by the principles of public service. This marked the beginning of their journey to serve the people and work towards a better future for the Bangsamoro region.
