Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) in partnership with the Office of BTA MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos, has provided financial assistance to ten (10) vulnerable, neglected, and marginalized institutions in Lanao del Sur. A ceremonial turn-over of the said financial aid was conducted at the Ragayan Training Center in Marantao, Lanao del Sur on April 7, 2023.
During the event, MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos, through her Political Affairs Officer IV, Samsoden Sigayan, highlighted the essential roles of toril, masajid, and madaris in promoting and maintaining peace in BARMM. “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘐𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘪𝘯 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘧𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘴,” Mr. Sigayan said.
The following ten (10) institutions were the beneficiaries of the assistance: Madrasah Binoria, Markaz Asshohadah Litahfidil Qur-an, Ma’had Darul Ulom Al-Islamie Inc., Masjid Tuca-Maul, Madrasatu Rahmaniah Al-Islamie, Ma’had Rantian Al-Islamie, Ma’ahad Rahmania Al-Islamia, Nurol Iman Litahfidhil Qur-an Center, Madrasah Maruhom Qadhie, and Masjid Apa Mimbalay.
Mr. Aleem Bashier D. Sharief, Head of Ma’ahad Rantian Al-Islamie, one of the recipients, expressed his gratitude to the Bangsamoro Government through MPOS and the Office of MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos for their assistance. He said, “𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘸𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘈𝘙𝘔𝘔 𝘎𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴, 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘳𝘢𝘴𝘢𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘫𝘪𝘥, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘵 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺.”
The provision of financial aid to vulnerable, neglected, and marginalized institutions is part of the Ministry’s mandate and function to implement programs related to peacebuilding in the Bangsamoro region. This assistance was made possible through the Transitional Development Impact Fund (TDIF) of BTA MP Diamila Disimban-Ramos.
