MPOS Kambalingan Project: Rekindling Hope Amidst Adversity in Maguindanao

𝘈𝘭𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘥𝘶𝘭𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘩 𝘬𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘰𝘮𝘢 𝘪𝘩 𝘔𝘗𝘖𝘚 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘢 𝘴𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘨𝘺𝘢𝘯 𝘬𝘢𝘮𝘪 𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘢 𝘣𝘢𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘩 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺.” (For a very long year, we patiently struggled because the livelihood here is difficult, particularly when you have no home to return. Alhamdullilah. We are grateful to MPOS for providing us with a new home.)

In a touching moment, Ustads Abdul Basser poured out his gratitude as the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) made their way to Barangay Darampua, Sultan sa Barongis, Maguindanao del Sur (MDS), BARMM.

On February 21, 2024, twenty (20) beneficiaries received financial assistance that converted into housing, marking a significant step towards rebuilding their lives and fostering a sense of security. For them, this assistance symbolized more than just monetary relief. It was a glimmer of hope amidst years of displacement and strife caused by armed conflicts.

The Kambalingan: Rehabilitation Program to Rido-Affected Communities initiated by MPOS, goes beyond mere construction. It’s a lifeline for communities grappling with deep-seated challenges in Barangay Darampua, Sultan sa Barongis, MDS. Alongside providing shelter, the project extends a helping hand towards accessing livelihood opportunities and essential services, vital for the residents’ well-being.

In a landscape shaped by intricate social dynamics and historical tensions, the MPOS’ Kambalingan emerges as a beacon of optimism. Through tangible support and resources, the Ministry isn’t merely building structures. It is resurrecting lives and fostering a newfound sense of security among locals.
