The Ministry of Public Order and Safety has taken a significant step towards enhancing community engagement and addressing critical public safety issues by launching a series of โ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ฑ: ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฃ๐๐ฏ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ข๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐โ held from May 18 to 21, 2024 respectively in four Barangays of Maguindanao del Sur, namely: (1) Barangay Salbu, Datu Saudi Ampatuan, (2) Barangay Panadtaban Rajah Buayan, (3) Barangay Tukanalipao Mamasapano, and (4) Barangay Katibpuan Talayan in Maguindanao del Sur, BARMM.
The Mashuwara Kalilintad community conversations aimed to provide a platform for residents to voice their concerns, share insights, and collaboratively identify the root causes of family feuds, land conflicts, armed conflicts, and other public safety issues. These sessions facilitated an open and inclusive discussions, encouraging participants to pinpoint safety challenges and propose solutions. The interactive format allowed residents to share experiences, while workshops focus on understanding underlying causes and building trust between the community and law enforcement agencies.
Mr. Yasser Maulana, a representative from Magungaya Mindanao Incorporated, emphasized the importance of understanding the root causes of conflicts within the community. This event is part of a broader initiative aimed at fostering community resilience and enhancing public safety through collective action and dialogue by encouraging residents to voice their concerns and work together with the Bangsamoro government.
During the community dialogue, Barangay Chairman Norodin S. Utto of Barangay Panadtaban, Rajah Buayan expressed his commitment and support to the Ministry’s effort to ensure a safe and secured environment in the Bangsamoro.
