Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) organized a ๐๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ต ๐๐ป๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฒ attended by 60 participants from various communities in Cotabato City on April 2, 2023 at the Barakah Rastaurant, Cotabato City. The objective of the program was to reinforce the religious and spiritual aspects of Islam, as per the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah in preserving and promoting public order and safety in their respective communities.
Resource person, Mr. Nasruddin Musa Awja, a graduate of the International Da’wah University, emphasized the essential role of youth and community participation in sustaining and advancing peace, public order, and safety in their respective communities. He said: “๐๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐บ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ต๐ฉ ๐ธ๐ช๐ญ๐ญ ๐ฃ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ ๐ง๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ข ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ฆ๐ง๐ถ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ด๐ข๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฐ, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ข๐ค๐ฉ๐ช๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ ๐๐ฌ๐ถ๐ธ๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐ด๐ญ๐ข๐ฎ๐ช๐บ๐ข๐ฉ, ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ณ๐บ ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ช๐ท๐ช๐ฅ๐ถ๐ข๐ญ ๐ด๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ญ๐ฅ ๐ฉ๐ข๐ท๐ฆ ๐ข ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ธ๐ข๐ฉ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ฉ.” He stressed that achieving peace and order requires the support and participation of the communities.
The participants took part in the event and shared the message of Islam as a religion of peace and their commitment in promoting peace, public order, and safety in their communities.
During the event, Mr. Bhenhar Ayob, the MPOS Development Management Officer V-Designate, emphasized the vital role of Ukuwah Islamiyah in preserving the peace, public order, and safety. “๐๐ฆ ๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ง๐ฐ๐ณ ๐ข ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ข๐ค๐ฆ๐ง๐ถ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐จ๐ด๐ข๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ฐ, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ต๐บ ๐ช๐ด ๐ต๐ฐ ๐ด๐ต๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐จ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ฏ ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ณ ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ธ๐ข๐ฉ ๐๐ด๐ญ๐ข๐ฎ๐ช๐บ๐ข๐ฉ (๐๐ด๐ญ๐ข๐ฎ๐ช๐ค ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฅ), ๐ต๐ฉ๐ข๐ต ๐ช๐ด ๐ธ๐ฉ๐บ ๐ธ๐ฆ ๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ท๐ช๐ต๐ช๐ฆ๐ด ๐ญ๐ช๐ฌ๐ฆ ๐ต๐ฉ๐ช๐ด,โ he said.
The event also highlighted that the Month of Ramadan is an excellent opportunity for reflection and continued learning, even after the holy month has ended. Overall, the program was a valuable initiative to educate and inspire the community toward promoting peace and public order.
