Talipao, Sulu | Ministry of Public Order and Safety turned over a Peace Formation and Learning Center to Barangay Local Government Unit (BLGU) of Bud Bunga, Talipao Municipality, Sulu on February 18, 2022. The facility is an MPOS-funded project in collaboration with 6th Special Forces Company, 2nd Special Battalion and Barangay Bud Bunga Local Government Unit.
This project aims to provide the needs of the residents especially their children for a safe place of learning. The BLGU is very thankful for the provision of the facility that will surely relieve the students’ hardship caused by lack of functional school buildings or classrooms in the community. This gave the community high hopes to continue their education and help their constituency become better members of the community.
Present during the turn over ceremony were MPOS Director General Atty. Al-Rashid Balt, Representative of Talipao Municipal Mayor Nivocadnezar I. Tulawie, Brgy. Chairperson Robin Tutong of Brgy. Bud Bunga, 6th Special Forces Company Commanding Officer CPT Ron Jr T. Villarosa and 101st Brigade Commanding Officer Engenio C. Boquio.
Through this MPOS project, the Brgy. Bud Bunga, Talipao is now having a Peace Formation and Learning Center that can be utilized for better development of the students and out-of-school youth. Hopefully, the students will become a major contributor to the future progress and development of Bangsamoro region.
