PAGs presence in Maguindanao Communities raised during the MPOS’ Mashuwara Kalililntad: Community Conversation on Public Order and Safety

Rajah Buayan, Maguindanao | In a community consultation conducted by the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS) in Rajah Buayan, Maguindanao on 16 August 2022 at Brgy. Pidsandawan, the participants voiced out their worries and sentiments, one of which was the intimidating presence of Private Armed Groups (PAGs) in their upland farm areas that caused them to worry and prevented them from tilling their lands. The Ministry in response to their concerns, through its Home Affairs Services Law Enforcement and Coordination Division (HAS LECD) will initiate a referral and coordination mechanism with its partner law enforcement agencies in the community to verify, monitor and provide the necessary action to address such concerns.
