π₯πΆπ±πΌ π¦π²πππΉπ²πΊπ²π»π| On April 23, 2023, two conflicting parties from Barangay Capiton in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao del Norte, successfully resolved a family feud or rido. The settlement was held at the Pagana Kutawato Native Restaurant in Rosary Heights XI, Cotabato City, and both parties agreed to a peaceful and amicable resolution.
The Bangsamoro Mediator Incorporated (BMI) spearheaded the effort in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Order and Safety (MPOS β BARMM), Office of BTA MP Michael E. Midtimbang, Center for Humanitarian Dialogue (CHD), and concerned stakeholders of the community. Despite previous conflicts, the rido settlement has brought peace and freedom to the area where the conflict once occurred.
The successful resolution of the rido was a result of the collective effort and commitment of the Bangsamoro Government and its partners in achieving lasting peace in the area.
