Lupon, Davao Oriental | The Ministry of Public Order and Safety in partnership with the Office of MP Hussein Muñoz of the Bangsamoro Transition Authority (BTA) successfully carried out a “Legal and Technical Assistance to Communities Outside BARMM in Lupon Municipality, Davao Oriental on July 1-2, 2022.
This activity made into reality through the Transitional Development Impact Fund of BTA MP Hussein P. Muñoz. One of the aims of the activity is to render legal and technical assistance to vulnerable communities particularly to Bangsamoro communities located outside the core territory of the Bangsamoro region.
One of the participants during an open forum said, we quote: “Sa tulong po ng inyong aktibidad ay nabigyang linaw po kami sa mga proseso, legalidad, at next steps na aming gagawin para sa aming itatayong organization. Salamat po MPOS at MP Muñoz.”
The intervention include organizing, capacity development, linkages, and strategic planning activities to thirty-one (31) inviduals whom are members of Federation of Muslim Kaagan Development Inc. (FEMKADI).
This program is part of the initiatives of the Bangsamoro Government to render assistance to communities outside BARMM as provided for under Article VI, Section 12 of the Bangsamoro Organic Law.
